For whom the bell trolls!

What a week! From a £16million collection of super cars on Thursday to trolls over the bank holiday weekend. The Flying Kiwi, aka Chris Coubrough, got stuck in to help his two favourite trolls with their tasty menu. Together we taught 100 children how to make a trolls favourite dinner...mud pie!

Flying Kiwis at Houghton Horse Trials

We've had an eventful few days! We were invited to prepare and cook the canapés for the riders and owners at the prestigious Houghton Horse Trials on Thursday evening only to find we didn't have a kitchen to work in just 24 hours before hand.
With a little blood, sweat and almost a few tears, we kindly received our tent back from the Rudham Cricket Club...an instant kitchen!

I was also fortunate enough to be invited to Paul Whittams super car club dinner and a gentle drive in the country! I enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Hoste followed by morning tea at Houghton Hall with an astonishing £16millon pounds worth of supercars cars in toe. The photos show me with my business partner Ken in a stunning Bentley and with my new red Ferrari Enzo!

The Ship Opening Week

Last week we had the grand opening of The Ship. We had various events held all week for press, friends of the Flying Kiwi Inns, local businesses, a group of 50 women and residents from the local area. We had a photographer with us all week and these are the photos we took.

We'll have more images and a gallery uploaded in the near future. In the meantime, we hope to see you in the Ship for a drink and a bite to eat...maybe a weekend stay in one of our new luxury rooms!

First service at the Ship Hotel, Brancaster

After months of building, planning and moving, we invited 50 women to help open the Ship Hotel in Brancaster.

"Spending the day with 50 women...someone's got to do it! Our first service at the Ship went well, although I had forgotten how hard it was to open a place. I hope to see you there in the near future."
